Putting organic fruit to the mouthFebruary 18, 2009 Every morning I ride a stationary bicycle while browsing the internet with a wireless mouse using a 50" big-screen HDTV connected to an Apple Mac Mini computer. I know what you're thinking. The 50" big-screen HDTV kind of sucks but the FULL-WALL HD video displays are still out of my price range for now.
This morning while exercising I read a New York Times article where the author states that: "Scientists suspect that the benefits of a healthful diet come from eating the whole fruit or vegetable, not just the individual vitamins found in it." (1) Many "experts" claim that dietary supplements are not needed if we eat a balanced diet. But who among us eats a BALANCED DIET? Nevertheless, let us examine in more detail this strange notion of "eating whole fruits and vegetables". Back 1 million years ago, man would get up in the morning, take his blood pressure medication, take the cigarette out of his mouth, kiss his wife goodbye for the day and walk out of his cave with a briefcase in hand and a tie around his neck to ensure poor blood circulation. Errr, wait, that's a different era. Let me try that again. Back 1 million years ago, man would walk out of his cave, extend a hairy arm toward a piece of fruit he'd located in a bush, wrap his fingers around the fruit, extract the fruit from the bush and put it to his mouth. I know, I know. This sounds like a rather strange notion, quite foreign to us in our scientific age, but let me put your fears to rest: THIS PROCESS CAN EASILY BE REPLICATED EVEN IN OUR MODERN SCIENTIFIC AGE. All that is needed is for us to follow a simple process consisting of these 4 sequential steps:
Successful completion of these 4 sequential steps will result in absorption through the digestive system of the myriads of known/unknown nutrients contained in the organic fruit/vegetable, thereby enlivening Nature's Intelligence throughout our physiology, which mankind's technological advances have less than a 1 billionth of a shadow of a chance to ever be able to duplicate without unwanted side-effects. (The statistic just quoted is highly scientific and backed by solid data.) (2) Mouse OVER HERE to put a smile on your face. Let us examine these 4 sequential steps in further detail:
What is involved in this final and critical step is the actual putting of the organic fruit/vegetable to the mouth, as foreign to us as this notion may seem. The use of graphic illustrations may help us make this process more easily understood without putting undue stress onto our modern brains: Using an apple as an example:
Well I think once again today, here on healingdaily.com, I've done the world a great service and helped raise the consciousness level of our society. For those who care to know, I like to stew my fruits: I will usually put 2 organic apples, some raisins, pitted dates and prunes - all organic, I don't need the extra flavoring from pesticides - in a crockpot, stew them while I practice Transcendental Meditation (had to throw that in there, it's part of my contractual obligations to Mother Earth, and her own mother, Mother Nature), and once the fruits are stewed, I blenderize them in my Vitamix blender, which makes the fruits even more easily digestible than they normally are, and I drink all that sweet yummy goodness. Cheers! Here's to YOUR perfect health! Marc References (1) http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/17/health/17well.html?em (2) You must be joking.
