My son is the great healer. He is also my best critic.

My son read the page I wrote yesterday and he commented "I like it but why did you title it 'James Blunt marries Oprah'?"

Good for you, my son. Don't let me get away with things too easily. I said before that I love it when children burst the adults' bullshit bubble.

I explained that the page discusses both James Blunt and Oprah Winfrey, and I allowed myself to be playful and title it 'James Blunt marries Oprah', and that the title wasn't meant to be taken too seriously.

What I do think needs to be taken seriously is the content of that page. I wanted to bring people's attention to the fact that for other cultures, people in the Middle East for example, the fact that Oprah Winfrey has producers who main job it is to write shows about women's orgasms must be a shock.

I think America has for years been indulging in excessed in all kinds of ways. Financially, morally, America has been all about EXCESS.

Look at the "Bratz" dolls, that are being sold for 5-year old little girls in America. They're totally sexed-up. Dolls for little girls didn't use to look like this 30 years ago. Today in America there are no limits anymore.

I'm not surprised that the rest of the world thinks the U.S. has gone mad. America has been a land of EXCESS financially, morally and just about every way, and that's why I believe the American Empire is about to collapse and the pendulum is about to start moving the other way. Mother Nature is having the last word.

The Roman Empire fell because people became lusty, greedy and violated natural law. This cycle has been going on forever. "Nothing new under the sun", as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi likes to say.

Sex, reproduction, is sacred. "God" - whatever "God" means to you - created reproduction so that life could go on. But today in America, do you think that sex is treated the way that God meant?

Natural Law and the Decline of the American Empire

I spent the better part of the last decade in Miami Beach, Florida. Back in 2007, I went to a Transcendental Meditation Weekend Residence Course, and when I came back from that weekend, it was as though I had new glasses on.

Things that were "out of whack", but which I had become accustomed to seeing, all of a sudden I was aware that they were "out of whack". I felt more connected to Natural Law and I was able to more easily discern whether or not a certain situation was in accord with Nature or not.

In the fall of 2007, I was sitting at Starbucks in Miami Beach, working on my computer - working on this website, actually. A woman walked in the Starbucks looking like this: I asked her if I could take a picture of her t-shirt with my iPhone. She said "Sure". She stood there in front of me, I took this picture, and I thanked her. My motive for doing so was that I thought this T-shirt symbolized perfectly why America is going to hell in a handbasket.

Once I left the Starbucks, I walked past a 1-bedroom condominium which was on sale for the bargain price of $239,000. No parking unless you pay extra. So I took out my iPhone, took a picture, and told myself "I need to get out of this place". When you see crazy nonsense like this going on, you know it's time to LEAVE.

So I left Miami. I left a few months later and moved to Fairfield Iowa to be on the Invincible America Assembly and I brought my son, his little sister and my ex-wife here.

Perhaps we need to ask ourselves how the rest of the world feels when they see the way America has been living.

I read yesterday that most people in the U.S. can name at least one judge on the "American Idol" TV show, but very few people in the U.S. can name one judge on the U.S. Supreme Court.
