Juicers
When someone purchases a juicer on my site, I make a tiny commission.
So I am grateful when people do that. That's one way you can help
with the site development of healingdaily.com.
In my opinion, the
Omega 8001 is the best
juicer on the market. However you may have different needs - or a
different budget. Here are some other juicers which have received
good reviews:

|
The Champion Juicer is
driven by a 1/3 horsepower heavy-duty motor that separates juice from
pulp in a continuous operation. Used in professional kitchens, it
can wring the juice out of fennel and ginseng as well as carrots or
watermelon. Fruits and vegetables are sent down the feed tube, juice
drains out of the screen holder, and pulp slides out the tapered end.
No intermittent cleaning is required. Try pressing frozen pieces of
banana down the feed tube to make instant all-fruit ice. The included
recipe book explains how to produce juices, sauces, sorbets, nut butters,
and baby foods. |

Waring JEX328 Health Juice Extractor
The
Waring Juice Extractor takes juicing to the next level. A high-speed
400-watt motor makes the extraction process efficient, and makers of
carrot juice will especially appreciate the brushed stainless-steel
housing--the extractor won't turn orange with age.
Everyone who's ever owned a juicer knows that cleanup is the
biggest downfall of home juicing. With the Waring, that won't be an
issue--the compact strainer, pulp collector, lid, and juice collector
are all dishwasher-safe, and the stainless-steel body wipes clean with
a sponge. The extractor's die-cast base stays steady on the
countertop, and its cushioned feet will minimize vibration, protecting
the countertop from scratches. The extractor comes with an instruction
book, a five-year limited warranty on the motor, and a one-year
limited appliance warranty.

MetroKane Chef's Juicer
Considered by
many to be the best
citrus juicer under $100, Metrokane's Chef's Juicer is a beautiful
piece of equipment, and not so large (17 inches high, 5-1/2 inches
wide, and 7 inches deep) that it wouldn't fit on almost any kitchen
counter. And it should be displayed, as it's fairly elegant, with a
shining chrome finish. But the real plus is in the final product--the
juice.
As attractive
as it is professionally functional, this chrome juicer generates
powerful pressure to quickly squeeze every drop of juice out of
oranges, grapefruits, lemons, and limes. And it extracts sweet juice
without scraping bitter oil from the fruits' skins, as electric
juicers often do. Its rack-and-pinion gear system and bar handle
generate pressure with little effort, and the spring-action handle
snaps back automatically for convenience and speed. For stability,
there's a grip for the left hand while the right hand pulls down the
handle. Accompanying the juicer is a 2-cup, mirror-finish,
stainless-steel juice cup with a removable strainer/cone for easy
cleanup. The juicer measures 17 inches high, 5-1/2 inches wide, and 7
inches deep, and its moving parts carry a lifetime warranty against
defects.

Braun MPZ22 Citromatic Deluxe Citrus Juicer
Driven by a 60-watt
motor, this powerful citrus juicer delivers an unlimited amount of
juice directly into a container through an anti-drip spout. If you need
to interrupt the juice flow, the spout snaps into a locked position.
Easy to clean, the juicer is made of hard, gleaming plastic and comes
with a clear plastic dust cover to protect the juicing cone. With the
dust cover in place, the juicer stands 9 inches high and is 6-1/2
inches in diameter.

Juiceman II JM410 Juice Extractor
Whether you're into nutrition-laden wheatgrass
tonics or really superb fresh orange juice, a juicer is a great way to
go. Fruits and vegetables are an essential part of a healthy diet, and
additive-free fresh juice is a convenient and quick alternative to
eating all of them whole. This professional-quality Juiceman makes the
process very quick for the serious juice enthusiast. A few simple
twists attach and detach the juice bowl, blade basket, and cover to
and from the base unit, which has a footprint comparable to the
average blender. Produce cut to the appropriate size goes in the feed
tube, then is gently pressed into the blade basket with a plunger.
Juice pours out one spout and the pulp--including seeds and
skin--shoots out into a separate pulp basket. It has two speed
settings, low for softer produce such as oranges and apples and high
for harder fruits and vegetables such as carrots and pineapples--in
practice this unit is plenty powerful enough to almost instantly go
through baby carrots at low speed. Enjoy the juice and use the pulp in
recipes such as those for carrot cake. A basic cookbook and audiotape
of juicing tips are included |

Juiceman Jr. Juice Extractor This juicer is good for someone
who isn't sure if juicing is for them. It gives you the opportunity to
try various juice recipes without investing a lot of money in the more
expensive juicers.
Getting 5 servings of
fruits and vegetables each day is a little easier with the Juiceman
Jr. juice extractor. Stainless steel blades and a high-tech,
micro-mesh basket make pulp-free juice any time of day. Even juices
rinds, stems and seeds (yes, some of these are actually good for you
and taste good, too). Features a clear, high-impact dome. Snap-apart
components for easy cleanup and reassembly. Comes with food plunger,
large pulp receptacle, audio cassette with juicing tips, and a fresh
juice recipe book and menu planner. Imported. 12Hx16Wx8D". |
