Hot Chicks and good oral hygiene.November
10 , 2010
Gum health is tremendously important for heart health. Want a healthy heart? Better make sure you floss daily and use high quality, natural oral hygiene products. In order to help maintain my gums in good health, I like to do oil pulling every morning for about 15 minutes while jumping on my mini-trampoline.
Oil pulling is reputed to have health benefits not only for gum health but also for overall health. Some of the nutrients in the sesame oil find their way into your body via the sublingual veins which are - surprisingly enough - under your tongue. Oil pulling is in fact part of the ancient health science called "Ayurveda" which dates back over 5,000 years. (None of the original Ayurvedic sages are around anymore but what do you want from me? Neither is the man who discovered vitamin C and yet we know it's good for us.)
The "Happy Teeth & Gum Kit"Another helpful oral hygiene product, which I started using a few month ago, is made by a small company owned by a fellow meditator in my hometown of Fairfield, Iowa, Dr. Alarik Arenander, a UCLA-trained neuroscientist. Dr. Arenander calls his product The "Happy Teeth & Gum Kit". (He's a neuroscientist, not a Madison Avenue marketer... May I continue?) The "Happy Teeth & Gum Kit" is an all natural oral hygiene product made with nourishing herbs and minerals and without harmful, irritating chemicals, unlike most of the toothpaste products sold by today's large multinational corporations. Dr. Arenander's website is Anti-AgingCompany.com. He also has great brain health products, check them out. I asked Dr. Arenander whether his brain health products would help me with MY BRAIN, but unfortunately, he replied that he is a neuroscientist, not a miracle worker. Ha! I take that as a definite possible MAYBE!! Dear reader, won't you do the right thing for your stupendously important gums, and order your "Happy Teeth & Gum Kit" today? How much do you spend on CABLE TV? Now I ask you, what in the hell is wrong with the world today that we have all this money available when it comes to paying for CABLE TV, but when it comes to caring for our gums, we can never afford it? I'm going to repeat myself: gum health is important for a healthy heart. When you care for your gums, you are caring for your heart. Gosh, I am sounding so intelligent right now, I am almost scaring myself. Somebody give me an award or something.
