"A healthy - and educated - mind, in a healthy body". That sounds like a wonderful goal, especially when it comes to children. I try to teach my 8-year old son the principles of health which I discuss on healingdaily.com, little by little.
Recently
however, in addition to doing research on natural health, healing
and alternatives therapies for healingdaily.com, I have been spending
a great deal of time writing math and Spanish educational software
for the Gameboy  to
help my 8-year old son learn math and Spanish faster and achieve even
better results in school. |

Using his Gameboy, my son can now learn and practice the basic math operators (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) - as well as learn Spanish - where ever he is and when ever he wants, simply by taking the Gameboy out of his pocket.
I plan to write more "Tutors" for his Gameboy, such as a Spelling Tutor, a Science Tutor, a Geography Tutor and so forth.

Joy in helping others take responsibility for their health

One of the things that brings me joy is knowing that healingdaily.com - in some small way - helps people take responsibility for their own health. I have also experienced a lot of joy seeing how my child has been helped by my little educational software for his Gameboy. |
Now I want to experience even more joy: I want other children to benefit from this "Gameboy Tutor". I want to help them learn faster and improve their school results, and most of all, I want to give them the freedom to learn math and Spanish WHERE EVER they want, using the Gameboy. The freedom to learn in a car, at the park, in the bus, anywhere, using the Gameboy. That would bring me a tremendous amount of joy.
