Around the world, healing and prevention are needed.

"9 out of 10 doctors recommend healingdaily.com as a form of birth control."I'm serious, it is THAT addictive. What good is having all this stress in society if you can't have a little fun at the expense of the American medical establishment? Laughter is good for the heart.
May 6, 2009
As I've discussed in my last two articles about my hometown here and here, Fairfield, Iowa is in my opinion one of the best U.S. towns to live in. Nevertheless, it is quite likely that within the next 6-12 months - perhaps a lot sooner - I will move back to Canada. I am a Canadian citizen, and as I have explained in my page on financial health, what I believe is about to happen to the U.S., the social unrest that will come from the coming U.S. economic downfall will make the U.S. a bad place for me and the children to live.
The health of the U.S. dollarBasically I believe that the U.S. dollar is going to lose its status as the world reserve currency and is going to be devalued because the U.S. is totally broke and getting broker. (Is that why they call them "stock brokers?" You're often more BROKE after you meet them?) I believe that those Americans who have saved all of their lives are going to end up ruined, as unfair as this may be. Every American with money in pension plans will lose whatever savings they have. U.S. dollars will become worthless and there will be hyperinflation in the U.S., brought about by out-of-control printing of money. Today is May 6, 2009, and because for the past few days, the economic statistics put out by the U.S. Government as not as dire as they have been in the recent past, the masses at large are thinking that we're out of the woods. A lot of people are thinking that we've finally hit bottom and the U.S. economy is going to get back "to normal". That's how quickly the collective mood can change because of mainstream media. I happen to believe that they are wrong. The long term trend in the U.S. is down. We are witnessing the end of the American Empire. Over the short term, we're going to have a little bump in economic activity because of the trillions of freshly-created money that President Obama and Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke just pumped into the U.S. economy. A trillion is one thousand billions.
"The decline of the American Empire", sex and matriarchy10 years ago, I saw the movie "The decline of the American Empire". Which is basically about sex. If you read the reviews on Amazon, one of the reviewers comments "female dominance is a characteristic of civilizations on the decline." This is quite true. A Matriarchy is a society in which women hold dominant positions within the family structure. However, such societies generally exist during times of social instability and stress, during which fathers are unreliable or absent. Successful societies, where children are raised to work toward continuation and betterment of their culture, are societies in which men take responsibility as fathers and husbands in the home. If you read the above paragraph carefully, you will notice that it doesn't say that female dominance CAUSES the decline of a civilization, it says that female dominance is CHARACTERISTIC of a civilization in decline. Matriarchies appear to emerge as a response to a breakdown in the societal structure, namely the marginalization or absenteeism of fathers. I believe that this describes American society today.
Economic health and the crisis of creditMy views on the coming economic collapse in the U.S. are discussed in more detail here. I do have a Bachelor's degree in Economics but that is obviously not a reason to pay any mind whatsoever to my rantings. (!) My point being that these are obviously just my opinions and you're free to ignore them. It's your money, your life and your health. While a university student, I would spend months without attending classes, learning the material on my own, because it was difficult for me to be around groups of people. My lack of attendance frustrated many of my teachers. I even missed exams because I was unaware of last-minute schedule changes that were made in the classroom. Once, after having submitted my final term paper at the end of a semester, my Economics professor summoned me to his office. I sat down in his office, a nervous wreck. He looked at me and said almost furiously "This paper is so damn good, that either it deserves an A+ or you copied the whole thing from somewhere." I told him that I had written the paper, and that the reason I had not attended his class was not out of contempt or disrespect, but because it was difficult for me to be around people. I believe that my views on the U.S. economy will bear themselves out. Enough that I am willing to act on them and make changes in my life and my children's lives. But ultimately you're free to decide for yourself.
