I want to tell all of you, my maybe-not-so-faithful but (today at least!) BLESSED readers, that TODAY IS A GOOD DAY, and I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS.

Maharishi's teachings are now available for download!

That's right. In fact, the Supreme Knowledge of Life, the teachings that His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has spent 50+ years spreading throughout the world, are now FREE in audio format.

You have read correctly. Let me explain.

Back when I went for a Transcendental Meditation weekend residence course, as recently as summer of 2007, one of the benefits of attending such a Transcendental Meditation weekend residence course, was the fact that the TM teachers would pop a video tape into the VHS player, and we would get to hear His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi discuss beautiful points of Knowledge.

Now, you need to understand. When the TM teacher would insert that video tape into the video player, we all wanted to kiss the ground, because WE WERE FINALLY BEING ALLOWED TO HEAR MAHARISHI'S VOICE.

We were finally allowed to listen to Maharishi's teachings about the Nature of Life, Happiness, how to create Heaven on Earth, we craved to hear Maharishi's teachings, and for a few hours, we would be allowed to listen to Maharishi's profound Knowledge, straight from the Master's lips. What a blessing it was. Then the TM teachers would stop the tape, and we would wonder when would be the next time that we'd be blessed with Maharishi's teachings again.

THOSE DAYS ARE OVER.

Maharishi knows it, He allows it, and this is what He wants.

This is what needs to happen at this time.

It is unavoidable, it cannot be stopped, and it should not be stopped even if it could be stopped, which it cannot.

As of a few weeks ago, hundreds of hours of audio recordings by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, dating back to 1959, are now available to anyone in the world, for FREE, to download, from the comfort of one's own home.

I do not know who owns this wonderful website, but I thank him or her on behalf of the people of the world who want to hear Maharishi's teachings and who believe that Maharishi's teachings should be available to everyone for free. I hope to meet him/her one day.

There is no commentary, no opinion, nothing. Nothing but Maharishi's pure Knowledge in complete PURITY straight from the Master's lips. Jai Guru Dev.

Whoever setup this website is someone who loves Maharishi, knows the value of His teachings.

During an interview which took place many years ago, in Switzerland I believe, - I can't locate the exact recording but it's out there - the interviewer asks Maharishi "Your Holiness, when you 'physically leave the scene', what will happen?"

Maharishi, with the sweet joy of a child in His heart, blissfully giggles and answers "When I physically leave the scene... the same thing that happens to the mind when one meditates, will happen: IT BECOMES UNBOUNDED."

But how to download them without having to right-click on each of the 370+ files separately and choosing "Save Link As..."?

ONCE YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE 'DOWNTHEMALL' FIREFOX EXTENSION:

1- Go here:

To download the recordings onto your computer: click on 'Tools' on the Firefox menu, then 'DownloadThemAll! Tools', then 'DownloadThemAll'.

2- This will bring up the DownloadThemAll! window.
Click 'Start' and watch all that goodness being downloaded unto your computer.

I recommend creating a separate folder beforehand to hold all those recordings in one place. Make sure you have at least 18 GBs of free disk space as this is how much disk space these things will take.

You can get fancy if you want and change the maximum # of concurrent downloads to 10 instead of the default (3). To do this: click on 'Tools' on the Firefox menu, then 'DownloadThemAll! Tools', then 'Preferences'. But either way all the recordings will eventually download.

Now that you have downloaded all 370 files, why not put those precious recordings of Maharishi on your iPod, iTouch or iPhone?

3- Once you have all the recordings on your hard drive, you can import them into iTunes by clicking on 'File' on the iTunes menu, then 'Add to Library'. Navigate to the folder where you saved all those recordings. You can select multiple files at a time by holding down the <Shift> key while you click on the recordings you want to add to your iTunes library. I believe if you just select the actual folder instead, it will add all the audio files found in that folder, but you may want to add the recordings a little at a time.

4- Once the recordings show in your iTunes library, simply drag and drop them unto your iPod icon in iTunes and you're good to go! :)

Maharishi says:

People of the world will still need to pay money to learn Maharishi's techniques from a qualified TM Teacher who has been properly trained by the TM Movement. The TM teachers have a right to make a living, and the TM Organization needs to be able to pay its bills and support its infrastructure. But Maharishi's message, which He worked so hard to spread as far and wide as possible throughout the world, should be available freely to anyone who wants to hear it.

In fact, this new, friction-free, unconstrained availability of Maharishi's teachings will actually increase the number of people who will want to learn Maharishi's techniques. Once an individual hears Maharishi's teachings, the individual will know that they are true, and will want to learn the technique for Bliss that Maharishi talks about in His teachings.

I wish to express my love for His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who entered his Mahasamadhi on February 5th, 2008, after having spent over 50 years spreading the Grace of his Spiritual Master, His Divinity Shri Guru Dev, throughout the world, because He so loved the world.

I have written this page with some fear in my heart - as it pertains to some of the people in the TM Movement, not most of them, but perhaps a few who may be misguided - but mostly with love in my heart, as I know that this is what Maharishi wants me to do.
